“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
Is this really true? We often need extra information to understand a picture.
Many photos appear in “Suspicious.” Some were taken while the Nazis were in power, others after the end of the Second World War. The Nazis took pictures for different reasons than US army photographers. For example, while the Nazis took photos of deportations to document their “good” work, US soldiers photographed the liberated concentration camps to document traces of the crimes.
